Lately, I have been very tired with the same media outlets that hip-hop has been using. Primarily with my generation, Yes! Im entertained but, I’ve seen countless 16’s and studio sessions. Something that drives me as a consumer and a fan of art is the logic and cerebral thinking behind the ideas or songs/lyrics. More importantly, how we{they} really feel about the industry raw/uncut with no PR strategy put in mind. For those of you who who have these kind of conversations with your friends, you don’t need a crazy edited production to have a successful video, (only when the content is right.). What the crazy thing is, is that a lot of people wont even take the time to perhaps take 20min out there day to really hear what these guys are saying. We as a group are getting so use to HUGE BIG ideas that we forget about the small ones. Just straight having a conversation…
